I began building custom homes with my dad as a teenager in 1993.  From small family homes to million dollar luxury homes, I quickly learned not only how to build a home to the highest standards, but also how to work with a variety of client personalities to ensure that their needs were met throughout the building process.  By the time I started college, I was running my own crew and supervising projects.

In 2003, I logged enough years of experience and passed the extensive knowledge tests required to become a licensed general contractor in the state of Arizona and start my own company, R & K Custom Homes and Contracting.  I designed and built several custom homes each year, from a small home for a retired couple to a luxurious 4,000+ square feet Tuscan home. My business was built by referrals, as my clients appreciate my ability to bring their dreams to life, my dedication to the highest standards in both materials and workmanship, and my integrity and transparency in every aspect of the building process.

In 2010, I moved my family of 5 to New Braunfels, Texas, and I decided to change the company name to Palmer Custom Homes to honor the family name and the role my Dad played in making me the builder and the person I am today.  My vision is to bring my extensive qualifications and experience to New Braunfels and become New Braunfels’ premier custom home builder.
